Refine by Number of Bids

In example 1, we covered the very basic steps needed to display x number of items by keyword for a given Ebay category. In this example, we'll build upon that to refine the returned items that have x number of bids.

Why is this important? Some suggest that that buyers are more prone to bid on an item of interest if others are also bidding. They may very well know the value of the item, know that they want it, and quickly decide to make a purchasing decision based upon this.

So, let's add a line of code to the example so that we return 15 items from the Wheels category with the keyword of bmw, where there are at least 2 bids on any item. To achieve this, we'll add the following line of code:

$ebay->eb_sabdlo = "2";
$ebay->eb_fbd = "1";

Notice now, that the items returned all have active bids. This can help create instant interest from the items you list on your site.
